When is the best time to sell?

Are you thinking of listing your home for sale? Or looking for a home to buy? Well, the time to do so is just around the corner. Research has shown that the best time to sell is spring and here’s why; the new school year is on the rise and parents want to find a new home closer to the new school, curb appeal is at its highest as everything starts to bloom and turn green, and the weather is ideal for open houses. Now this doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t list any other time in the year, but spring is the busiest time of the year for real estate. For example, if you are listing your house in the winter you are likely to get very serious buyers- with high intent, especially since home showings in the winter weather is not ideal.

Here are a few tips to get your home ready to sell:

Rid your home of clutter, complete repairs inside and outside of the home, have your carpet/floors cleaned, complete small and needed renovations and make sure your home is well light- for photos and showings!
